Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned his
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an
Accounting major, and he also received his Master of Coroprate Real Estate (MCR)
from NACORE International, Institute for Corporate Real Estate.
Scott is an experienced and dedicated professional with a proven
track record in strategic development, effective negotiation and
decision-making. He brings over 25 years of commercial real estate
experience to NorthStar Commercial. Prior to joining NorthStar,
Scott worked for Meijer, Inc. as Director of Real Estate
where he was responsible for the identification, selection, negotiation,
administration and coordination of Meijer’s new store site acquisition
activities covering a five (5) state market. He made significant
contributions to Meijer’s growth and expansion, closing on
60+ new store sites, including shattering the record
for the number of closings (9) in one year, 2006.
